PUP YELPS FOR HELP & SPITS OUT BLOOD AFTER OWNER LEFT HIM IN HOT CAR FOR AN HOUR

The police took him to the hospital, but unfortunately he died from heatstroke.

A Pearl River, Louisiana woman is facing animal cruelty charges after she left her six-month-old puppy inside a hot car, eventually killing him.

27-year-old Brittney Robertson left her BoeBoe in her car parked outside a Slidell Walmart for an hour while she was shopping.

Witnesses saw the lethargic puppy inside a car, screaming and spitting up blood. They immediately called the local Slidell department, and a bystander quickly got into the car and rescued him.

When the police arrived, they rushed BoeBoe to an area animal hospital, where they determined he had an internal blood temperature of over 109 degrees.

Robertson told police she thought her dog would have had enough air since she left the windows open, even though the car was stopped.

She was arrested on charges of aggravated cruelty to animals and booked into Slidell City Jail before being transferred to St. Tammany Parish Jail.

She now faces a $25,000 fine and/or up to 10 years in prison.
